We love college students. It doesn’t matter which shade of blue you prefer! (or any other color for that matter!)
On Sunday mornings, we invite our college students to attend our Young Adults Community from 9:30-10:30am for a time of teaching and fellowship. This class meets in the Auditorium (on the lower level below the Sanctuary).
Good Shepherd also loves offering our “Adopt a College Student” to enable our families and our college students to enjoy getting to know each other over meals together, etc. For more information about this ministry please email Simon Stokes (RUF campus minister at UNC).
We are very supportive of a variety of local campus ministries at both Carolina and Duke that we encourage students to get plugged into during the week. We especially recommend Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Duke and at Carolina. The two RUF campus ministers and their families are actively involved at CGS. Crawford Stevener (RUF at Duke), and Simon Stokes (RUF at UNC) are active not only in our Sunday opportunities with students, but also all week long in their ministries on their respective campuses.

At Good Shepherd you’ll also get the chance to know two of our elders, and their families, who lead our college ministry: Len White and David Pierce. Our CGS ministerial liaison to our college ministry is Bill James.
We hope you’ll check into who we are, and how we try to know and love college students in this tremendous season of their lives.
