Parents of 2-year-olds and 3-year-olds (those who turned by October 15, 2010) we welcome you to CGS Sunday School and Children’s Worship respectively!
PARENTS OF 2-YEAR-OLDS: Your children will begin their journey through Sunday school! At 9:30 am in room N305 your children will be taught Bible stories, crafts and songs. They will stay in the SAME room for nursery at the 10:45 service.
PARENTS OF 3-YEAR-OLDS: Your children will attend Sunday school at 9:30 am in room N300. After Sunday school you will pick them up and take them to the sanctuary to worship with you until the singing of the first hymn (last verse). Then you will escort them back to room N300 for children’s worship! Please make sure to fit in a potty break!!

CHILDREN'S CHURCHChildren ages 3 through 3rd grade go with their parents to the sanctuary during the adult 10:45 worship hour and are released before the sermon. They will then participate in their own service which is modeled after the adult service. Children are introduced to various aspects of worship and then encouraged to put them into practice in adult worship. The curriculum was written specifically to accomplish this goal. LOCATIONS (After first part of Sunday 10:45 worship service in sanctuary with parents) Children's Worship II--Room 206: K-3rd graders learn what it means to worship God, love His church, and serve Him in all they do. Music and puppets are included as teaching tools. |
