Grad & Career

The Grad & Career Flock is made up of people in their 20s in various vocations, graduate school or completing professional training. The group comprises both singles and married couples.  The Grad & Career Sunday Morning Teaching Fellowship meets from 9:30 to 10:30 in the Auditorium (below Sanctuary). Didi Wong is the minister to the Grad & Career Flock.

Our adult classes (those 30 and over ) are grouped by geographically-based "flocks" and are generally taught by our ministers and elders.  View Flock Division Map

North Flock

The North Flock is made up of those who live in Durham, north of The Church of the Good Shepherd and 15/501 business, including zip codes 27701, 27704, 27705, 27712, and some 27707. The North Flock Sunday Morning Teaching Fellowship meets from 9:30 to 10:30 in Room S204Jerry Currin is the minister to the North Flock.

South Flock

The South Flock is a geographical flock made up of those who live in Durham, south of The Church of the Good Shepherd and 15/501 including zip codes 27713 and some 27707. The South Flock Sunday Morning Teaching Fellowship meets from 9:30 to 10:30 in Room S212 (The "Chapel Annex") which is the north third of the fellowship hall. Bill James is the minister to the South Flock.

East-West Flock

The East / West Flock is made up of people living east and west of The Church of the Good Shepherd. It forms a horseshoe around Durham and includes: Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Hillsborough, Mebane and Raleigh.  The East-West Flock Sunday Morning Teaching Fellowship meets from 9:30 to 10:30 in Room S202. David Bowen is the minister for the East West Flock.
