Nathan is a native of Little Rock, Arkansas and thus a fan of SEC sports- namely the Razorbacks. He attended Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, where he received a B. A. in Business/ Economics and an aversion to financial pie charts. He also worked at a camp in Northern Wisconsin called Honey Rock Camp each summer during college. The camp experience directly relates to his passion for spending time in the woods, mountain biking, hiking, etc. After graduation he worked as a youth pastor in his home church in Little Rock and then moved to Charlotte, NC, to pursue a Seminary degree. He graduated from Reformed Theological Seminary (Charlotte) in 2005 with a Master of Divinity. During his time in seminary he met the love of his life, the former Christi Wilson of Durham, NC. They were married in the summer of 2003 and have two small boys, Hunter and Andrew.
