Friday Morning Men's Bible Study (FBMS)
Our weekly Friday Morning Bible Study (FMBS) meets in the Commons (next to the Kitchen) from 6:30-7:30am around tables, our Bibles, and fresh coffee. The first eight weeks of this winter we are studying 1 Kings Chapters 1-11. We’ll see how the rise and fall of King Solomon can be an encouragement, and a warning to us as us men seek to live and lead in our own realms. In addition, we'll see how King Solomon’s reign leads us to look forward to the righteous, good, flourishing reign of Jesus in our lives now and in the new world to come. This group is always open to newcomers! For more information on this study, contact Pastor Bill James.
Seven Pillars of Freedom Study
The Seven Pillars of Freedom Study meets one weekday morning at 7:00am. Come join men at CGS who want to grow in sexual integrity and wholeness. This study is designed to help those who struggle with lust and any form of compulsive sexual behavior, including the use of online pornography. This group will be beneficial for a wide spectrum of men, and the only requirement is a desire to find freedom and growth in Christ. This group uses a workbook giving tools for overcoming unwanted behavior written by a top expert in the field. This is a confidential group and your involvement will remain confidential. Contact Chris Garrett to find out how to join.
