Summer Book Salon
Salon’: n. 1. A drawing room in a large house. 2. An assembly of guests in such a room, esp. during the 17th and 18th centuries, for the purpose of increasing their knowledge through conversation and readings.
   
CGS women and their friends are warmly invited to attend THREE evenings of lecture and interactive discussions led by acclaimed author and counselor PAULA RINEHART. Paula has touched women's lives through writing, speaking, and ministry for more than 20 years. Her private counseling practice includes men, women and couples—the focus being on personal growth and intimacy with Christ. To top it off, SHE IS LOCAL and attends Blacknall Presbyterian Church.

  WHERE: Home of Sylvia Adkins, Chapel Hill
  COST: $10 per evening, paid upon entry
   
   

Each evening we will focus on a different theme from one of Paula's books. It is not necessary to read the book to benefit from the talk, althought the book will expand upon the evening's topic. EACH SESSION STANDS ALONE. If you miss one, you won't fall behind.

Although pre-registration is not required, you will need to RSVP to Sylvia Adkins at spadkins@nc.rr.com as she must leave a list of attendees at the gatehouse. Directions will be provided to those who RSVP.
