MAKE CHRISTMAS JESSE TREES:
Be part of a group of women getting together to cut/paste/hand-stitch Jesse trees. The ornaments tell the story of Jesus, His lineage to Jesse, the father of King David, and His birth. Make one tree for yourself and help make others for CGS missionaries. (This project is on hold for a time. We are caught up on trees for our missionaries at the moment!) Questions? TUTORING:
Rising Stars Tutoring program is held each Tuesday and Thursday afternoon from 3:30-4:45 pm at Eastway Elementary School. Eastway Elementary is an inner-city school where the children have many needs. Rising Stars works with second graders who are at risk
of failing. The children are tutored in reading and math and tutors are encouraged to build strong relationships with the children they tutor. If you are interested in investing in the life of a needy child, please contact Teri Adelman at 471-3233 or Teri_Adelman@yahoo.com.
